MEMBERSHIP
Any person in the senior age bracket can join the Upper Clutha U3A (the Society) subject to:
-
Their agreeing with the objects of the Society and their acceptance of its Rules ( the Rules included under the tab "More" on this website), and
-
Their membership application being approved by the Society’s Executive Committee, and
-
There being available vacant membership within the Society’s membership cap of 350, and
-
Their paying the current subscription
The membership of the Upper Clutha U3A is capped at 350.
We run a wait list when the membership cap has been reached, and we invite those wishing to join the group to register their names with our Membership Secretary.

Because of the membership cap, the Executive Committee has set a policy that if a member has not attended any lecture series in the last 2 years, their membership will terminate at the end of the current financial year, to make space for a prospective member from the membership wait list.

If a current subscription has not been paid by a member, their membership will cease three (3) months after their subscription became due and payable.
